DAY 1: FIRST PIFPO National Convention
Day 1 of the 1st PIFPO National Convention was a huge success as 530 attendees witnessed an awesome first day of hybrid execution by the National Board headed by the hardworking IPP Paul Roque, NP Ronel Roncal Baes, NVPI Nardito Jr Cornelio, and yours truly together with the incredible team and secretariat at the PIFPO South NCR chapter headquarters courtesy of SNC President Benedict Ahyin Wong.
As a first-timer on such a platform, PIFPO did well the rest of the day after the usual glitches on the first day of such a big event. Who is PIFPO?
The Philippine Integrated Fire Protection Organization (PIFPO) who was formerly known as SFPE Philippines, is a non-profit organization founded in the Philippines on September 2, 2017, with SEC Registration No. 201735312 and TIN 009-859-559. PIFPO is committed to eradicating loss and damages in life and property caused by fire-related incidents by focusing on the aspects of education, design, installation, operation, and adherence to local and international codes and standards.
PIFPO comprises of highly-trained and experienced fire protection professionals who are experts in the design, installation, audit inspection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of fire protection systems for all types of applications.

Invitation to the 1st PIFPO National Convention
Please be informed the Philippine Integrated Fire Protection Organization (PIFPO) is inviting members and interested non-members to the 1st PIFPO National Convention 2022 to be held on 15 – 18 September 2022 via ZOOM.
This 1st Natcon theme is entitled “Addressing the Challenges of Fire and Life Safety”. The activity aims to introduce awareness and the importance of fire and life safety to all sectors of our society. PIFPO is the country’s premier fire protection organization and envisions itself as the Philippine leader in engineering a fire safe world.
PIFPO 1st General Membership Meeting
The first General Membership Meeting was successfully held at the Dilexio Bldg in Singalong Malate Manila last November 24, 2018 with the theme: “ Cultivating Stewardship and Adherence on Fire Protection Standards”. The GMM far exceeded expectations as it was attended by more than 200 interested members. Various topics were taken up by technical speakers as follows:
- Engr. Bernie Terrobias on Electrical Safety
- VPT Ronel Baes on Fire Protection for Special Hazard Applications
- Architect Roland Arimado (current BOD member) on Passive Fire Protection
- Pres Paul Roque on Update of RA9514
- BOD member on Microbiological Influence of Corrosion in Fire Protection System
- Maj. Garry Lunas on Means of Egress
A membership Interaction was held after all the presentations – Open Forum and the GMM.
Social Responsibility and Outreach Program
Last 2019 holiday season we extended our hands to Philippine General Hospital Cancer patients with the hope that we can all be a reason for their smiles so they will able to forget for a while the battle that they are on.
