NFPA 1600: Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs. NFPA 1600 establishes a common set of criteria for all hazards disaster/emergency management and business continuity programs. NFPA 1620 specifies the minimum information that needs to be part of a pre-incident fire plan, which includes a building’s occupancy and use, architecture and design, safety features and equipment, surrounding buildings, entrances and exits, and contact information of managing staff.

In 2018, Engr. Emata has acquired the Certificate of Competency (COC) from the BFP-HQ as Fire Safety Practitioner. He is one of the founding board of trustees of PIFPO.
