NFPA 1600: Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs. NFPA 1600 establishes a common set of criteria for all hazards disaster/emergency management and business continuity programs. NFPA 1620 specifies the minimum information that needs to be part of a pre-incident fire plan, which includes a building’s occupancy and use, architecture and design, safety features and equipment, surrounding buildings, entrances and exits, and contact information of managing staff.

Engr. Emata is a graduate of Adamson University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) and an avid technical lecturer in different professional engineering organizations. He was a former industry Lecturer and part-time professor at the Technological Institute of the Philippines Cubao. His more than three decades of professional experience in the fields of air conditioning, plastics, LPG, confectionery, ophthalmic, and hotel industries have earned him as one of the reputable consultants in his area of expertise and by 2016, he was recognized as one of the recipients of the PSME Ten Outstanding Mechanical Engineer (TOME) in the field of Consultancy award. In 2018, Engr. Emata has acquired the Certificate of Competency (COC) from the BFP-HQ as Fire Safety Practitioner. He is one of the founding board of trustees of PIFPO.
